PowerBook: Custom Colors for MagentaCase
Raleigh, NC--01 DEC 91: Magenta Seven is now offering a choice of colors for
its high quality, padded carrying case for the Macintosh PowerBook. Any
combination of available colors can be requested on orders of five or more
cases.
The exterior, made of Du Pont 1000 Denier Cordura nylon, is available in Grey,
Hunter Green, Navy, Black, Brown, Royal Blue, Plum and Red. The nylon trim and
lining may be matched or contrasted in many colors including Wine, White,
Yellow, Orange, Pink, Turquoise, Kelly Green, Hunter Green, Light and Dark
Grey, Light, Royal and Dark Blue, Black and many more.
“In many instances we can approach or even match corporate color themes,” said
Simon Wright, Magenta Seven’s president. “This option is especially appealing
for companies that maintain a pool of PowerBooks or have provided PowerBooks to
many of their staff. It helps extend the corporate identity into the field and
sustains a sense of fellowship within the company.”
Closed cell foam padding provides excellent protection from bumps and
scratches. Pockets and pouches carry all accessories including the power pack
and up to five extra batteries. MagentaCase is designed so that the PowerBook
can be used while it is still in its case. Each case is serialized and owners
names and addresses are maintained in a Lost & Found Registry that can assist
in returning PowerBooks to their owners.
MagentaCase carries a suggested retail price of $119.95 but is also available
directly from Magenta Seven for $85 plus shipping and handling.
